Bob was the kindest, most handsome, sincerest, funniest, loving, caring, thoughtful ,sweetest, friendlest, greatest gentleman I have ever know. I love him so and I will miss him greatly. My daughter says he could always turn her frown upside down. I can't be with his family and friends to celebrate his life but I will be with you all in my heart. Bob is dancing, laughing and having a party with all the angels, and you know he has many cuz Where ever Bob went people flocked. He will hold the pearly gates for us and ask"What took you so long" Until we meet again my friend....love you

Bob was one of the greatest friends a person could ask for. He helped me through some very difficult times and I will never forget him for that. He always had a smile on his face and could sit and tell you stories for hours. I am going to miss him. It was an honor to be his friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I have not seen nor spoke to my cousin Bobby since we were children. Used to go to Aunt Vivians with Mom (Sandra Lowe Brummett) Milford, Ill., and have a great time with Bobby and Flipper. My grandfather Malcolm Lowe and Aunt Vivian were brother and sister. I miss those days and wish I had kept in touch with Bobby, reading everyones comments makes my heart happy he was a wonderful man and father. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and I will always hold a special place in my heart for my cousin. Jami Brummett Smith, Tampa, Florida

I can remember alot of good times and jokes that Bob told. Bob never complained to others about the pain he was in but anyone that had arthritis and back problems would personally know what that pain was like but he never let that stop him from doing his work to the best of his ability even though he was in a great deal of pain .My family and I had growed up around Bob and Flip .BOB was a great man that will be missed .RIP BOB God Bless You your with your mom and dad and other family members you loved and missed .Marla Cruz

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. We grew up two houses apart, and we were always good friends. I knew the whole family and had good times with all of them. When Bob and I were younger we were always doing something such as hunting, fishing, camping, partying you name it we did it. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his family. I am going to miss you old friend.

For those who could not attend the services it was a wonderful tribute to Bob. Over 700 people came through the line! Jackie (the mother of Amy), Drew his son, Whitey Hasbargen a friend, Charlie Ferry , his "cuz" and Kat Berry a friend, all spoke of Bob's antics, that brought alot of laughter, but also the love they have for him. We share in those antics, and love. He will be so missed. We can all learn from Bob how to be a friend and father. He was giving and thoughtful. He knew how to make you laugh with his famous one liners. He always talked about his kids, being so proud of them. Im sure he is now on the other side greeting his friends and family and doing all that he did best.

What About Bob? We could all write a movie about Bob! He was a fun loving always complimenting and joking! When he was a young boy Vivian always had Flip & Bob's hair slicked back and oh so perfect!! They would come out to the motel (Carousel Inn) every Friday night and visit before going over to Karchi's to have dinner. He was always so excited to go have a Filet Mignon!!! I remember being young, (we were about 13-14 then) and all the girls were after Bob & Flip Ferry! They were the hottest guys in Watseka. Bob always said' I was his sister! He really enjoyed when we were young giving me a PINK BELLY!!! Through the years he would always tease me and would say he was going to give me a PINK BELLY recently in California he tried to get my son to hold me down so he could give me a pink belly!!! Bob I will always remember those pink bellies even though they hurt and you said I liked it!!! Bob was an amazing fun loving guy whom always made you laugh. I'll miss those wake up calls at 2:00 in the morning! He loved his kids so much and raised two beautiful sweet children! He was so proud of Amy & Drew!!! Watseka will not be the same without Bob Ferry!!!! What about Bob....Thank you Bob for all the good times... you made the chapters in my life alot more interesitng and fun!!!.God Bless You Bob
