Charlene Kay Graves

Charlene Kay Graves, 72, of Watseka passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. She was born on October 13, 1949, in Flora, IN, the daughter of Parks and Lela Mae (Kirkpatrick) Young. She married Jackie Lee Graves on January 19, 1971 and he preceded her in passing on November 22, 2013.
Surviving are four children, Steven Dale Young of Watseka, Angela Fox of Hesperia, CA, Gordon Parks Graves of Onarga, and Thomas Neil (Kathy) Graves of Watseka; one sister, Linda (John) Manis of Tullahoma, TN; three brothers, William (Nibia) Young of Indianapolis, IN, Larry (Barbara) Young of Crawfordsville, IN, and Robert (Diana) Young of Burlington, IN; fourteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Imogene Spradling.
Charlene enjoyed crocheting, reading, was a fan of old movies, and loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Austin Madewell will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services from 9:00-11:00 am.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
