Lola M. Arnold

Lola M. Arnold, 88, of Watseka passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the Iroquois Resident Home in Watseka. She was born on November 10, 1933 in Gifford, the daughter of Melvin and Rena (Boomgarden) Alcorn. She married Merle Arnold in Watseka on January 30, 1976. Surviving are her husband, Merle Arnold of Watseka; one son, David DeLahr of Kankakee; one daughter, Denise Santoyo of Watseka; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolyn DeLahr of Watseka and Judith Crouch of Milford. Lola was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one son, Robert DeLahr. She volunteered at the Iroquois County Museum as well as at Iroquois Memorial Hospital. Lola worked at Watseka Farmers Grain as a bookkeeper for over twenty-five years. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka. Pastor Joe Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois.
