Mary Ellen Ralph Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary Ellen Ralph, 79, of Watseka, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was born on July 6, 1937 in Ashkum, IL, the daughter of Elmer Prater and Lenora (Mason) Prater. Mary Ellen married Marion Ralph on February 17, 1957 at the Methodist Church in Watseka. Mrs. Ralph worked as a cashier for Scotchman’s. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, watching the CUBS, Watseka High School sports, and the UofI. Surviving Mrs. Ralph is her husband, Marion Ralph of Watseka; two sons and daughter-in-law’s, David and Cheryl Ralph of Dry Ridge, KY and Mark and Carol Ralph of Two River, WI; three sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Ken Brown of Crescent City, Eileen Duden of Woodland, and Janet Rabideau of Watseka; six grandchildren, Ian, Rileigh, Caleb, Nathan, Katelyn, and Ethan; and nineteen nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by both parents; and one sister, Nancy Thompson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, at Baier Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 pm, at Baier Funeral Home. Pastor David Ralph will officiate. Burial will follow at Iroquois Memorial Park Cemetery in Watseka.
