Sue Ellyn Foglesong Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sue Ellyn Foglesong, 69, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka. Sue was born on August 27, 1952 in Watseka; the daughter of Earnest and Jody (Braden) Wallen and they preceded her in death. She married Louis Foglesong on February 16, 2004 in Las Vegas and he survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jani Southard of Chicago and Jennifer (Chris) Liles of Lombard; one grandchild, Chandler Southard of Watseka; two brothers, Bruce Harper of Watseka and Brian “BJ” (Karen) Harper of Watseka; several nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved dearly; and two aunts, Judy Braden Kilgore and Ruth Thiele. She was preceded in death by her parents; her Dad, William Harper; and two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Wallen. Sue enjoyed working, taking care of everyone and everything, her children, and grandchildren. She worked as a data entry at CST Berger in Watseka and unit Secretary in labor and delivery at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Her wishes to be cremated will be fulfilled. A celebration of life will be from 12:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. on August 27, 2022 at Crescent City Community Center (301 Main St). In a letter written by her, to be read upon death, she details the love she has for her family and friends. In her words, “be happy, I led a WONDERFUL life”.
