Verla M. Menigoz

Verla M. Menigoz, 86, of Watseka passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Iroquois Memorial Hospital Resident Home. She was born on December 8, 1935 in Thawville, a daughter of Amos E. and Bessie A. (Schmink) Hillary. Verla married Fay Edmond Menigoz in L’Erable on December 26, 1955 and he proceeded her in death on July 26, 1997. Surviving are four sons, Dawn Menigoz of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Dan (Judy) Menigoz of Sheldon, Dean (Traci) Menigoz of Watseka, and Duane (Kathy) Menigoz of Onarga; nine grandchildren, Amber Hamilton, Nicholas Menigoz, Jennifer Uribe, Christopher Menigoz, Jacob Menigoz, Kody Menigoz, Kyle Menigoz, Billy Menigoz, and Alice Menigoz; and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was also proceeded in death by both parents; four brothers, Kenneth, Howard, Marion, and Dale Hillary; two sisters, Ethel Moran and Emogene Hillary; and one son, David Menigoz.
