Carmen McCoskey, 80, of Watseka, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home.
She was born on February 6, 1937 in Zaragoza, Spain, the daughter of Gregorio Pelegrin and Gregoria (Itoy) Pelegrin.
Carmen married Terry McCoskey on August 31, 1993 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Carmen was a Homemaker. She was also a member of the Cornerstone Church and an active Missionary. She enjoyed socializing.
Surviving Mrs. McCoskey is her spouse, Terry McCoskey of Watseka; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Showalter of Diberville, MS, and John and Barbara Showalter of Ocean Springs, MS; daughters and son-in-law: Tammie Thomas of Diberville, MS, and Marie and Randy Reid of Biloxi, MS; grandchildren, Larry and Damien Liepelt, Jessica Allen, Jennifer Scott, Scott Bosarge, Shantelle Showalter, Nick Showalter, Jeremy Showalter, Gabriel and Maya Showalter, and Ashley and Scottie Reid; great-grandchildren, Brighson Liepelt, Chris, Amber, Anthony Allen, Hunter and Noah Bosarge, Makenzi and Liam Scott, and Landon Brooks.
She is also preceded in death by both parents; one daughter, Marcy Liepelt; and two granddaughters, Ronika Showalter and Amanda Liepelt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4-8pm, at Cornerstone Church in Woodland, IL.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 am, at Cornerstone Church in Woodland, IL. A one hour visitation will take place prior to services. Pastor Jerry “PJ” Parker will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, IL.
