Cecil Eades, 77, of Watseka, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
He was born on May 13, 1939 in Lexington, IL, the son of Cecil Henry Eades and Fern (Smith) Eades.
Mr. Cecil Eades married Sharon Terry on April 22, 1989.
Cecil was a mechanic for Ford for 38 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 23 and a past member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Mr. Eades served in the ARMY. He enjoyed reading, walking, yard work, and motorcycling.
Surviving Mr. Eades is his wife, Sharon Eades of Watseka; two sons and daughter-in-law’s, Shane and Alonna Eades of Watseka and Chad and Cheryl Eades of Lafayette, IN; three sister-in-law’s, Carol Eades of Thomasville, GA, Mardel Eades of Ashkum, and Penny Eades of Hudson, FL; one sister and brother-in-law’s, Gloria and Dan Turpin of Otterbein, IN, Greg Geising of Fayettville, TN, and Frank Kosma Simpsonville, SC; one step-son and step-daughter-in-law, James and Iva Hogue of Pheonix, AZ; four grandchildren, Taylor Eades, Cameron Eades, Shelby Eades, and Aspen Eades; two step-grandchildren, Connor Hogue and Iva Hogue; many nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Warren, Ray, and Eddie Eades; and two sisters, Joyce Kosma, and Mildred Geising.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4-7pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 am, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, with a one hour visitation prior to services. Pastor Donald Love will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, IL.
