Donald Ray German

Donald Ray German, 76, of Watseka passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his family at his son’s house in La Grange, KY. Donald was born on June 20, 1946 in Watseka, the son of Kenneth and Barbara (Sapp) German. He married Vera Kolitwenzew on October 4, 1969 in Watseka and she preceded him in death on June 28, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill German; one son, Jim Vanderwal; and one granddaughter, Shelby Vanderwal. He is survived by one son, Travis (Debbie) German of La Grange, KY; one daughter, Nicole (Aaron) Corum of La Grange, KY; six grandchildren; Emily, Allison, Sydnie, Kinsley, Cody, and Daniel; one sister, Kendra (Terry) German of New Port Richey, FL; seven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Pam German of Sheldon; and one daughter-in-law, Tara Rader of Earl Park, IN Donald served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
