Esther E. Roach, 88, of Martinton, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
She was born March 20, 1927 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Adrian Duclos and Mabel (Gerard) Duclos.
Esther married Ronald “Jim” Roach on June 18, 1966 in Martinton, IL.
Mrs. Roach was a homemaker for most of her life, but previously worked as a Pharmacy Technician at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL .
She enjoyed cooking, reading, bird watching, and most of all enjoyed being a mother and grandmother
Surviving Mrs. Roach is her husband, Ronald “Jim” Roach of Martinton, IL; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Wehling of Racine, WI; one son-in-law, Dave Webster of Martinton, IL; two grandchildren, Adam and Sarah Wehling, Sara and Chad Merten, and Scott and Michele Webster; three great-grandchildren, James Wehling, Chase Merten, and Tiffany Webster; two step-great-grandchildren, Brittany Merten and Brandon Merten; and two nephews.
She is also preceded in death by both her parents; one husband, Virgil Wehling; one daughter, Sandra Webster; and one infant brother, Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4-7pm, at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, IL. Prayer service will be held at 7:00pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 am, at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, IL. A one hour visitation will be held prior to services. Father Powell will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Martinton, IL
