Gary R. Cassady, 78, of Watseka passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.
Gary was born on June 27, 1944 in Kankakee, the son of Robert and Mary (Wolfe) Cassady and they preceded him in death along with one son, Gary Cassady Jr.
He is survived by one sister, Joyce (Tom) Harris of Bourbonnais and their daughters, Mary Ann, Patty, and Kelly; and two sons, Steven (Connie) Cassady of Kankakee and their son, Steven Cassady Jr. and Robert (Vicki) Cassady of Chebanse and their daughter, Chloe Cassady. He is also survived by Gary Cassady Jr’s sons, Brenden, Trenton, and Collin.
Gary was an Union Rep for General Foods where he worked as a machinist for many years.
Cremation rites accorded by Baier Funeral Home in Watseka and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
