Gayle L. Osterhous, 76, of Woodland, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
She was born on July 12, 1939 in Chicago, the daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Grzyevinski) Ifland.
On June 12, 1956, she married Gene Osterhous at First Christian Church in Watseka, Illinois.
Mrs. Osterhous was an administrator for public aid for the state in Iroquois County. She enjoyed trail horseback riding, reading, and loved spending time with family. She was a member of the Illinois Stock Horse Association.
Surviving Mrs. Osterhous is her husband, Gene Osterhous of Woodland, Illinois; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert and Debra Osterhous of Woodland, Illinois & Danny and Melanie Osterhous of Woodland, Illinois; four grandchildren, Ashley and Troy Odgers of Watseka, Illinois; Kayla and Andy Manos of Belfast, Tennessee; Mindi and Andy Walton of Watseka, Illinois; and Jessica Osterhous and A.J. Kingdon of Watseka, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Ifland; and sister, Geraldine Ifland.
Visitation for Mrs. Osterhous will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 4-7pm at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, Illinois.
Memorials in Mrs. Osterhous may be made in her name to Illinois State Stock Horse Association, Woodland Methodist Church, or Donor’s Choice.
Cremation Rites will be made accordingly.
