Irvin "Ray" Busick

Irvin “Ray” Busick, 88, of Sheldon, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
He was born on November 13, 1926 in Connersville, IN, the son of Leo Busick and Chloe (Miller) Busick.
Mr. Busick married Alice Thomas on March 12, 1945 in Lawrenceville, IL. She passed in 2009.
Irvin was an Independent Carpenter. He served as a trustee for 23 years, and was a lifetime member of the Sheldon District Fire Department. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Surviving Mr. Busick is one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Marilyn Busick of Sheldon, IL; one daughter and son-in-law, Chloe Ann and Charles Schindler of Kirkland, IL; one brother, Vernon Busick; four grandchildren, Chad (Wendy) Busick, Ryan (Kris) Busick, Laura (Jesse) Spain, and Sarah (Ryan) Keef; eight great-grandchildren, Weston, Caleb, Reid, Clarke, Jessa, Jory, Jared, and Braden; and many nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by both parents; and wife, Alice Busick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 9am-11am, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:00 pm (Noon), at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. Pastor Donald Love will officiate.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watseka, IL.
