Jason Lane Mercier, 27, of Crescent City, IL, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016.

He was born on March 23, 1989 in Kankakee, IL, the son of Keith Mercier and Janice (Koehn) Mercier.

Jason was a Heavy Machinery Operator for Nortrak. He enjoyed jeeping, fishing, camping, boating, and most of all his family and friends.

Surviving Mr. Mercier are his parents, Janice and Keith Mercier of Milford; maternal grandmother, Roberta Koehn of Fergus Falls, MN; fiancé, Lindsey Williamson of Crescent City; two sons, Gage Mercier of Crescent City and Ryder Williamson of Crescent City; three brothers and sister-in-law's, Justin Mercier and Brittany Knight of Crescent City, Kevin and Tammy Mercier of Sheldon, and Ryan Mercier and Samantha Sands of Kentland, IN; two sisters, Tezra Cayot of Chebanse and Amie Matuszewski of Hersher; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Mercier, Shay Seibring, Landon Mercier, Levin Mercier, Jackson Mercier, Abby Sands, Maddy Sands, and Vander Earley; several aunts and uncles; and any cousins.

He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gaylord and Francis Mercier; and maternal grandfather, Maynard Koehn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4-8pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 am, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, with a one hour visitation prior to services. Pastor Brent Zastrow will officiate.

Burial will follow at St. Anne Township Cemetery in St. Anne, IL.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials in Mr. Mercier's name can be made to the Family’s Wishes.
