Jerrold William Harms, 64, of Kankakee, IL, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
He was born on January 23, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the son of Russell Harms and Marian (Seibring) Harms.
Jerrold married Shellie Benjamin on May 23, 1992 at Faith Lutheran Church in Watseka. He worked for CSL Behring for thirty-five years before retiring. In his spare time he farmed the family's land. He enjoyed stock car races, farming, recycling, being outside tinkering with projects, and fireworks. He was also a member of the Pontiac Car Club.
Surviving Mr. Harms is his wife, Shellie Harms of Kankakee; son, Isaac Harms of Kankakee; daughters and son-in-law, Olivia Kunsch (Corey Pasel) of Papineau, IL, Kailei (Christopher) Both of Watseka, and Tailor Harms of Kankakee; twin sister and brother-in-law, Janice (John) Lubben of Watseka; brother-in-law, Michael Benjamin of Ashkum; sister-in-law, Tami (Gary) Clausen of Castle Rock, Colorado; grandchildren, Kennedy, Schuylar, and Jovi Kunsch, and Aynslee Pasel; nephews, Marcus Benjamin, Michael Dau, Aaron and Bryce Clausen, Joel (Elizabeth) Lubben and Jason (Bonnie) Lubben.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 12pm (Noon) until 2pm, at Faith Lutheran Church in Watseka.
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm, at Faith Lutheran Church in Watseka. Pastor Jordan Cooper will officiate.
Burial will follow at Prairie Dell Cemetery in Iroquois, IL.
