Roy E. Redman

Roy E. Redman JR, 71, of Milford, IL, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born August 8, 1944 in Watseka, IL, the son of Roy Edgar Redman SR and Harriet Louise (Tucker) Redman. Mr. Redman was a CNC Machinist Fabricator for over 35 years and Co-Owner in C & R Hobbies. He enjoyed working in his wood working shop, camping, CB Club and ESDA. Surviving Mr. Redman is his spouse Diane L. Redman whom he married on June 12, 1993; Son Kevin (Debbie) Redman of Manito, IL, Daughter Kim (Mike) Schroeder of Milford, IL, Step-Son Marc (Tammye) Deardorff of Corydon, IN, Step-Daughter Melinda (Ernie) McKay of Milford, IL; Four sisters and brother-in-laws, Mary and Ronnie Merkle of Cissna Park, IL, Carol and Alan Mancuso of Aurora, IL, Pamela McConnell of Bloomington, IL, and Patricia and Larry Leppard of Wellington, IL; 5 grandchildren 1 great grandchild, 12 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great grandchildren.; and many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by both parents, Harriet and Roy Redman, Spouse, Sharon Franklin Redman of 28 wonderful years, one son, Kenneth W. Redman, one step-grandson, Drew Turner, and one brother, Melvin D. Redman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 4-7pm, at the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka IL. Burial will be held at a later date at Sugar Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Mr. Redman’s name can be made to Donor’s Choice. Cremations Rites will be made accordingly following services.
