Sue Ellen Pfingsten

Sue Ellen Pfingsten, 74, of Watseka, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016.

She was born onOctober 14, 1942 in Watseka, IL, the daughter of Warren Williams and Ruth (Nally) Williams.

Sue married Leon Pfingsten on September 29, 1963 in Woodworth, IL.

Mrs. Pfingsten was a homemaker and ran a cleaning service. She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka, as well as a member of the Legion Auxiliary for 40 years. She also served as an election judge. Sue enjoyed camping, traveling, sporting events, and the BEARS.

Surviving Mrs. Pfingsten is her husband, Leon Pfingsten of Watseka; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Pfingsten of Redding, CA; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jim Schork of Fenton, MO; three grandchildren, Jimmy and Jeremy Schork of Fenton, MO and Savanna Hawley of Chico, CA; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Williams of Watseka, IL; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous brother in law’s and sister in law’s.

She is also preceded in death by both her parents; and her in law’s, Walter and Elma Pfingsten.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 4-7pm, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:00 am, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka. A one hour visitation will be held prior to services. Pastor Donald Love will officiate.

Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Woodworth, IL.

Memorials in Mrs. Pfingsten's name can be made to Calvary Lutheran Pre-School, IMH Hospice, or Donor’s Choice.
