Mrs. Virginia Sanders

Virginia Sanders, 95, of Donovan, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
She was born May 11, 1924 in Donovan, IL, the daughter of Harry Askew and Martha Albright.
Virginia married Donald Sanders on December 11, 1949 in Donovan, IL.
Mrs. Sanders was a home maker. She also worked at the Donovan Egg Farm. Virginia was a member of the Donovan Women’s Legion Auxiliary and the Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, watching tv game shows and sports, especially college basketball.
Surviving Mrs. Sanders are her children; David Sanders of Donovan, Thomas Sanders (Michael Smith) of Oak Park, IL, and Diane Lindgren (Keith) of Marshall, IL; sister, Mary Arseneau of Donovan; grandchildren, Eric Lindgren of Marshall, IL, and Alison Brooks (Chris) of Bloomington, IL; two great-grandchildren, Titus Brooks and Mya Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Rosetta Barnett; brother, Wes Askew; and granddaughter, Amy Lynne Lindgren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 9 until 11 am, at Baier Funeral Home in Watseka, IL. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Kevin Nourie will officiate.
Burial will follow at Prairie Dell Cemetery at Iroquois, IL.
